Terms of Service

Last updated: May 23, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lighthouse at https://lighthouse.cv ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements in your jurisdiction.

2. About the Platform

Lighthouse is a copy-trading platform built on the Lighter decentralized exchange. The Platform allows users to view trader performance and automatically mirror trades executed by other users.

Lighthouse is not a broker, exchange, custodian, or financial advisor. Lighthouse does not provide investment advice, trading recommendations, or portfolio management services. All trading decisions are made by users or by the traders they choose to copy.

3. Account and Wallet

When you create an account, an embedded Ethereum wallet is automatically generated for you through a third-party authentication provider. You have sole custody of this wallet. Lighthouse does not have access to your private keys and cannot move, freeze, or recover your funds.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. If you lose access to your account, Lighthouse may not be able to restore it or recover associated funds.

4. Copy Trading

When you subscribe to copy a trader, you authorize the Platform to place mirror orders on a dedicated sub-account created on the Lighter exchange on your behalf. You retain control of your funds at all times.

By using the copy-trading feature, you acknowledge and agree that:

By using the Platform, you grant Lighthouse a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your trading activity, performance statistics, username, comments, and posts on the Platform, including on public leaderboards, trader profile pages, and social feeds.

5. Fees

The Platform charges a flat 0.0025% fee on each copy trade at the time of opening and closing, calculated on the position's notional value. This fee applies regardless of whether the trade is profitable.

The underlying exchange may charge its own trading fees. You are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from your use of the Platform.

Lighthouse may, at its sole discretion, restrict, withhold, adjust, or revoke performance rewards if it reasonably suspects a user is engaging in abusive or manipulative activity. This includes but is not limited to: opening and closing positions in rapid succession with no clear trading purpose other than to earn rewards, activity designed to cause intentional losses to copy traders, or operating multiple accounts to artificially inflate copier counts or rankings. Lighthouse is not required to provide prior notice or justification for actions taken under this section.

6. Risks

Trading perpetual futures and other leveraged instruments involves substantial risk of loss. You should not trade with funds you cannot afford to lose. By using the Platform, you acknowledge the following risks:

7. Restricted Jurisdictions and Sanctions

The Platform is not available to residents of, or persons located in, the following jurisdictions: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, China, North Korea, Russia, Ukraine, Cuba, Iran, Venezuela, Syria, or any other jurisdiction subject to comprehensive economic sanctions.

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are not located in, a citizen or resident of, or otherwise subject to the jurisdiction of any restricted territory. You further represent that you are not listed on any sanctions list, including the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Specially Designated Nationals List, the EU financial sanctions lists, or any similar list maintained by any government authority.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

9. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, trademarks, and other intellectual property on the Platform are owned by Lighthouse or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Lighthouse does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Lighthouse does not guarantee the accuracy of any trader statistics, performance data, or market information displayed on the Platform.

Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making any trading or investment decisions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lighthouse and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, funds, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.

The total aggregate liability of Lighthouse for any claims arising from or related to the Platform shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to Lighthouse in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), whichever is lesser.

12. Third-Party Services

The Platform relies on third-party services for authentication, wallet infrastructure, trade execution, and hosting. Lighthouse is not responsible for the availability, security, or performance of these third-party services. Your use of such services may be subject to their own terms and conditions.

13. Termination

Lighthouse reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the Platform at any time.

Because the Platform is non-custodial, your funds remain accessible directly through the underlying exchange regardless of your account status with Lighthouse.

14. Changes to These Terms

Lighthouse may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Force Majeure

Lighthouse shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to blockchain network failures, exchange outages, smart contract vulnerabilities, regulatory actions, cyberattacks, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.

16. Disputes

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
